Exemptions
Candidates with relevant academic qualifications or professional experience may apply for module exemptions under the University of Suffolk Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy. Applications are reviewed by the Academic Board. Exemptions are limited, subject to an application fee, and non-appealable except in cases of procedural irregularity.
Students granted exemptions remain fully enrolled as University of Suffolk students, with identical status and recognition as those studying at the UK campus. All certificates and transcripts are awarded by the University of Suffolk and are globally recognised.

Admission Requirements
- Minimum age: 23
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2:2 classification or equivalent; OR
- Professional qualification of graduate status; OR
- HNC/HND (UK) or equivalent, with minimum 8 years of work experience (3 at management level); OR
- Minimum age 30, with at least 8 years of work experience (5 in significant management roles)
English Proficiency
- GCE ‘O’ Level English: Minimum C6
- IELTS (Academic/UKVI): 6.5 overall, 5.5 minimum in each component
- Pearson PTE Academic: CEFR C1 level
- University of Suffolk Password Test: 6.5/7.0 overall, minimum 5.5 per component
Master of Science International Business and Management (MSc IBM)
Exemptions
Candidates with relevant qualifications and work experience may apply for exemptions in line with the University of Suffolk’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy. Exemptions are subject to Academic Board approval and may incur an application fee. Decisions are final, except in cases of procedural irregularity or proven bias. All students will be registered as University of Suffolk students and receive the same globally recognised award upon graduation.

Full-time: Weekdays, 9am – 12pm, 1pm – 4pm
Part-time: 3 weekday evenings (7pm – 10pm) and 1 weekend session (9am – 4pm)
