Medical Insurance Scheme

Hanbridge Institute is presently working with AXA Insurance Singapore Pte Ltd to arrange for insurance coverage for all existing and future students.

Choice of opt-in or opt-out for Singaporean/PR students/non-Student’s Pass International Students if they are already covered by their own medical insurance plan.

Upon successful application for medical insurance coverage, students will be given an update on the status with clear statement on the policy’s terms and conditions, the claim procedures, any exclusion, the features/coverage for medical insurance.

The medical insurance coverage for hospitalization and related medical treatment for the entire course duration. Minimum features/coverage for medical insurance is as follow:
Annual limit not less than S$20,000 per student
A ward in government and restructure hospitals/private hospital
24 hours coverage in Singapore and overseas (if student is involved in school-related activities) throughout the course duration

Please note that as in all medical insurance, there are exclusions for pre-existing condition. The exclusions are indicated in the medical policy which is available on the school website.

Claim Procedure

Student is required to submit the following documents to AXA through Hanbridge Institute within 30 days from the date of discharge from hospitalization, from the date of death or from the date expenses were incurred for which the claim is made, whichever is applicable:
Duly completed Claim Form
A copy of the Inpatient Discharge Summary given to patient upon discharge
A copy of the Day Surgery Authorization Form signed by the patient before surgery
A copy of the Referral Letter, if any
Final Original Hospital Bill and all other Original Medical Bills related to admission/surgery
