To let teachers and students on campus experience the festive atmosphere in advance, Hanbridge Institute specially prepared a heartwarming Dragon Boat Festival activity to welcome this traditional celebration together.<\/h3>\n

\ud83d\udc09 DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s Time for Zongzi!<\/p>\n

When it came to zongzi (glutinous rice dumplings), we carefully prepared a variety of flavours to suit the different preferences of teachers and students:<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd62 Lightly sweet plain zongzi<\/strong> and red bean zongzi<\/strong> \u2013 perfect for those who enjoy traditional and healthier tastes;
\ud83e\udd62 Pork zongzi<\/strong> and mushroom pork zongzi<\/strong> \u2013 savoury and aromatic, evoking nostalgic memories of childhood with every bite.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udde7 DIY Dragon Boat Festival Sachets<\/h3>\n

Besides delicious dumplings, we also organised a culturally meaningful DIY perfume sachet-making session<\/strong>. Students could freely choose from 9 types of natural herbs<\/strong>, including:
\ud83c\udf39 rose,
\ud83c\udf3c jasmine,
\ud83c\udf3f cinnamon,
\ud83c\udf43 mugwort,
\ud83c\udf31 rosemary,
\ud83d\udc9c lavender,
\ud83c\udf2c peppermint,
and more \u2014 to create their own unique personalised scent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Each herb carries different benefits \u2014 some calms the mind, others refresh or repel mosquitoes \u2014 making the sachets both practical and symbolic.<\/p>\n

As students crafted their sachets, they also learned about the tradition and significance behind wearing them during the Dragon Boat Festival: to ward off evil, offer blessings, and promote peace and health<\/strong>. Through this hands-on process, the essence of the festival quietly took root in everyone\u2019s hearts.<\/p>\n
