On 31 October 2025, Hanbridge Institute came alive with colour and laughter as students and teachers joined in the festive spirit for the annual Halloween Costume Day.The campus was filled with energy and creativity as students from diverse cultural backgrounds showcased imaginative costumes and enjoyed an afternoon of fun, language practice, and intercultural exchange.
A Celebration of Creativity and Cultural Diversity
To help students experience global traditions in a joyful setting, the Institute organised several interactive activities throughout the day.
- Best Costume Contest — At 4:00 PM, our faculty gathered in Classroom 7 to select the top three most creative costumes.
- Trick or Treat! — Students cheerfully greeted their teachers with the classic phrase and received sweet surprises in return.

Beyond the laughter and costumes, the event encouraged students to use English naturally in conversation, fostering confidence and stronger connections among peers and teachers alike.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
At Hanbridge Institute, we believe that learning a language is also about understanding culture.
Events such as Halloween Costume Day serve as “living classrooms,” where students can practise communication skills, teamwork, and creativity in authentic cultural contexts.
Whether preparing for admission into local schools through the AEIS Preparatory Course or building academic foundations for the O-Level Programme, students at Hanbridge are encouraged to learn through experience — applying English in real-life scenarios that build both language ability and confidence.
Congratulations to Our Winners!
After a round of lively judging, three students received the Best Costume Award and three others were recognised with Participation Awards.
Their creativity and enthusiasm added colour and joy to the campus celebration.

Bringing Learning to Life
Every event at Hanbridge Institute is more than a celebration — it is an extension of our educational philosophy:
Learning should be engaging, practical, and connected to real-world culture.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all teachers and students who took part in making this Halloween one of the most memorable and heart-warming moments on campus.
