Hanbridge Institute Officially Opens Vietnam Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City

Hanbridge Institute has officially opened its representative office in Ho Chi Minh City. The opening marks an important milestone in our continued growth and engagement in Vietnam.

The Hanbridge Institute team in Vietnam is led by Dr Kevin Dinh, Vietnam Country Director. He oversees our local operations and engagement in the country.

To mark the official opening, Dr Alan Go, Chairman of the Academic Board at Hanbridge Institute, travelled from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City. He joined Dr Dinh and the Vietnam team for the occasion.

Hosted by Dr Dinh, the event brought together guests and partners to celebrate Hanbridge Institute’s growing presence in Vietnam.

The opening represents another step in our commitment to building meaningful educational connections between Singapore and Vietnam.

Distinguished Guests Mark the Official Opening

The official opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by distinguished guests from education, the local community and Singapore-Vietnam organisations.

Joining Dr Kevin Dinh and Dr Alan Go for the ribbon-cutting ceremony were:

  • Ms Lê Thị Thanh Thảo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Bình Tây Ward
  • Mr Lâm Dũng Tiến, Chairman of the Vietnam–Singapore Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City
  • Meritorious Teacher, M.A. Lâm Văn Quản, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Vocational Education

Their presence helped make the official opening a significant occasion for Hanbridge Institute. It also reflected our growing engagement with the education community and partners in Vietnam.

Strengthening Singapore-Vietnam Education Connections

Our local presence allows Hanbridge Institute to better support Vietnamese students and families exploring opportunities to study in Singapore. It also provides a closer point of contact for those based in Vietnam.

Beyond student support, the representative office creates opportunities to deepen relationships with local education partners. Through these relationships, we can explore future collaborations, exchanges, and international learning opportunities.

In turn, we hope to strengthen educational connections between Singapore and Vietnam. Students can also gain greater access to information about Singapore education and the study pathways available to them.

Supporting Vietnamese Students Exploring Education in Singapore

For Vietnamese students considering studying in Singapore, understanding the available education pathways can be an important first step.

Founded in 2003, Hanbridge Institute is a Private Education Institution in Singapore. We offer programmes across different stages of a student’s education journey.

These include preparatory and English courses, as well as foundation, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes.

Through our presence in Vietnam, students and families can learn more about Singapore education and the study options available. They can also better understand entry requirements and identify pathways that align with their academic goals.

Our engagement with Vietnam has developed over the years. We have welcomed Vietnamese students and education groups to Singapore and developed collaborations with Vietnamese organisations. These activities form part of our wider commitment to cross-border education and learning.

The Vietnam representative office also supports a broader direction for Hanbridge Institute.

While supporting prospective students remains important, our local presence allows us to engage more closely with education institutions and organisations in Vietnam.

During the opening, Dr Alan Go shared Hanbridge Institute’s interest in exploring joint programmes and education collaborations with Vietnamese partners over the longer term.

These connections support our vision of becoming a leading private education institution of choice in Asia. At the same time, they create more opportunities for educational exchange between Singapore and Vietnam.

A New Milestone for Hanbridge Institute in Vietnam

The opening comes as Ho Chi Minh City continues to attract international education institutions.

According to Tuổi Trẻ News, Vietnam had 31 representative offices of foreign education institutions as of 31 May 2025. Many of these offices were located in Ho Chi Minh City.

For Hanbridge Institute, our presence in Vietnam allows us to deepen our local relationships while continuing to support students considering Singapore for their education.

As we move forward, our focus remains on helping students understand their options and supporting them through their education journey. We also look forward to developing meaningful partnerships across borders.
