A Warm Welcome to WEWIN EDUCATION from Vietnam: A Cross-Cultural Exchange at Hanbridge Institute
On the afternoon of July 29, Hanbridge Institute had the pleasure of welcoming a student delegation from WEWIN EDUCATION, an English language centre based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This visit was part of their four-day education and cultural immersion trip to Singapore, with 10 students and one teacher joining us for a meaningful half-day experience.
🎓 Educational Insights into Studying in Singapore
The visit began with an in-depth talk by Ms Wang, our senior academic advisor, who introduced the group to the Singapore education system — covering primary to secondary school progression, key examinations such as AEIS and O-Levels, and future study pathways. She also offered personalised advice tailored to each student’s background, helping them understand suitable routes for studying in Singapore.
Despite being in the process of strengthening their English skills, the students listened attentively, took notes, and stayed highly engaged — turning the session into a valuable real-life English listening and comprehension opportunity.

Through dialogue and Q&A, students learned about the unique aspects of studying in Singapore, including:

🏫 Touring Hanbridge Institute: A Taste of Campus Life
After the seminar, students explored the Hanbridge campus — visiting classrooms, student spaces, and academic facilities. They were especially drawn to the multicultural environment and welcoming atmosphere we strive to create for all foreign students studying in Singapore.
One highlight was the Campus Interview Challenge — a fun activity where students split into teams and interviewed our teachers or peers in English. Despite language barriers, they took bold steps to communicate, showcasing remarkable confidence and courage.
