Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools (GPC)
Introduction
Singapore has a robust public schooling system comprising over 180 primary schools and around 130 secondary schools (government and government-aided). New international students who wish to join the mainstream primary and secondary schools have to sit for the Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) or Supplementary Admission Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) held every September/October and February/March respectively.
At Hanbridge Institute, our AEIS preparatory course content is based on the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) Primary and Secondary Syllabus for English and Mathematics, and the course materials are selected from MOE-approved textbook list. Hanbridge Institute ensures that our teachers are trained quality educators familiar with the Singapore Education System to help bring our students to their fullest potential. Our goal is to help students — many of whom are newcomers to Singapore — build a firm foundation in English and Mathematics and prepare them thoroughly to succeed in the rigorous AEIS/S-AEIS process.
