Study Abroad Programme

Introduction

The Hanbridge Institute’s Study Abroad programmme (SDAB) aims to provide international students with the opportunity to study in Singapore with the following objectives:

  • Improve their English competency with a structured 1-month intensive English programme
  • Enhance their international and cultural exposure (Cultural Intelligence – CQ)
  • Academic progression in their respective study programme with credit transfer
  • Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students who completed the programme

Class Duration:

5 months

Class hours:

Mondays to Fridays (Exclusive Public Holidays); Morning session: 9.00 am to12.00 pm; Afternoon session: 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm

Teacher-Student ratio:

Maximum 1:41

Admission Requirements:

  • Age: All applicants must have attained the age of 17 at the start of programme
  • Language proficiency: Proficiency in English Language with minimum of IETLS 3.5 or Equivalent
  • Academic Level: High School certificate or its equivalent (12 years)

 

Graduation Requirements:

Completion of all chosen modules and passing of all final exams of chosen modules.

Course Structure and Synopsis

Participants of the SDAB programme will be able to demonstrate:

  • Improved English language competency, and
  • Sound knowledge of the basic concepts and principles associated with the respective academic business modules chosen from Hanbridge Institute higher learning programme
  • Assessment Type and Schedule:
    Part A – English Module
    Part B – Higher Education Business Module (determined at point of registration)
